Bates Barn sits on 15 acres overlooking Belleisle Bay. Inside, the room is all wood with exposed beams and soft lighting. Everything a Group Needs Is Already Here

We've hosted hundreds of events since 2011, so the practical details are sorted.

There's wifi and satellite internet, a ceiling screen with a projector, and a prep kitchen with its own caterer's entrance.

Tables and chairs come with the room, along with a 900 square foot mezzanine and plenty of parking.

Dishes, glassware, cutlery and linens aren't provided, and set-up and take-down are up to you.

Weekend and Weekday Dates, and a Barn Already Decorated for Christmas

Send us the date you have in mind, whether it's a Saturday or a Tuesday, and we'll tell you if it's free. Not every weekend is booked for a wedding, so it's worth asking.

The barn is decorated for the Old Time Christmas market on November 28 and stays that way for about the first three weeks of December. A company booking a holiday party in that window walks into a finished room with nothing to hang and nothing to haul. Ask us which dates are open.

Events That Happen at the Barn

Staff parties and training days work well here, since the wifi and projector let people get real work done. High school proms run here too, and so do farm-to-table dinners with the orchard right outside.

Can we book on a weekend or a weekday?

Either. Send us your date and we'll tell you if it's free.

Is there a bar for corporate events?

Ask us. How the bar works for a staff party or corporate booking depends on the event, and we'll go over it with you.

Can we bring our own caterer?

Yes. There's a private caterer's entrance to the prep kitchen. Your caterer needs to be insured and have food safety certification.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

No. Bates Barn is the only party licensed to sell and serve alcohol on the property, so anything you want to serve is arranged through us.
