Questions About Booking Bates Barn.
How big is Bates Barn inside?
The main floor is 40 by 82 feet, with a 900 square foot mezzanine above it overlooking the reception and the dance floor.
Is the barn heated and air conditioned?
Yes, both, on the main floor. That's why the barn is open all twelve months of the year.
Can we have the ceremony outside?
Yes. There's an outdoor ceremony spot with an arch, and an indoor one. If it rains, the ceremony moves inside.
Does the barn have a sound system?
There's a PA system, but it can't be used for the dance. You'll want a DJ or a band that brings its own sound.
Where can our wedding party stay near the barn?
The Log House sleeps up to twelve and sits 6 km from the barn. It’s reserved for Bates Barn clients, so your wedding party can have it to themselves. There is campsite with six water and power hookups.For everyone else, the places on our Preferred Vendors list are used to hosting wedding guests, and one is within walking distance of the barn.
